Customer Service Advisor - £25,000 - £27,500 + 10 % Annual Bonus + Enhanced Pension + International Market + Growing Company + Career Progression!

The Company

Our client is a manufacturer of precision components to a variety of industries worldwide. They are an established global leader in the technical marketplace, offering more than 100,000 state-of-the-art products used for measurement and process control across many industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to the team based in Irlam, Manchester.

The Role

Working Mon-Friday 8.30am-5pm (Flexible hours), the Customer Service Advisor will work to drive efficient deliveries by managing internal processes to support customer requirements.

The main responsibilities for the Customer Service Advisor will include:

* Manage all incoming customer interactions via phone/email.

* Liaise with sales engineering team as required to provide a professional response to incoming product queries.

* Advising customers of any delays or issues with their orders

* Arrange returns with domestic and international freight forwarders

* Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication.

* Maintain customer information & interactions using and accurately log complaints into the CRM & ERP systems.

* Explore all aspects of the customers complaint, establish and understand the root cause

* Deal with carriers regarding issues with delivery

What We Are Looking For

The Customer Service Advisor will have a strong background in customer service & complaints handling, ideally within an international manufacturing business.

You should be/have:

* Competent in the use of IT systems such as email, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), ERP and CRM.

* Experience in a similar customer service role

* Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.

* Willingness to go that ‘extra mile’ to deliver overall customer satisfaction.

* Experience of dealing with customer complaints

* Able to work across nationalities and geographies, ensuring the voice of customer is respected.

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to project a professional image.
