Based in Amersham
Join a leading building services company that work across the UK and who specialise in full M&E design, installation and engineering support.
They are currently seeking an experienced document controller for an immediate start to commence working on a temp-to-perm basis.
Your primary responsibilities will include:

Scanning and uploading documents
*
Processing hard copy data into digital formats, data capture, and input along with supporting the management team
*
Provide support to the business and learn the relevant skills and knowledge to assist the Management team and Document Control
Once you have completed training, you will assist the company in managing the registration, receipt, distribution, and issue of all project documentation, assist with and collate O&M Manuals, manage all incoming and going project documentation including drawings. Record keeping of each document’s status and revisions.
Job Details:

You will be tasked with inputting information into systems, predominantly using Excel and Microsoft Word
*
Responsible for generating reports
*
Supporting the commercial team, reconciling invoices (when needed)
*
Cross-checking paperwork in preparation for payments
*
Document management and control
*
Answering the telephone/taking messages
*
Basic administration tasks
*
Compiling project packs and technical submittals
*
Issue weekly progress reports to clients
*
Generate Technical Submittals & Technical Projects Packs
*
Liasing with our Clients Document Controllers to ensure our documents are correctly uploaded in a timely manner.
*
Project set up on Boris software, checking and uploading drawings.
*
Creating Draft Operations & Maintenance Manuals at the beginning of each project.
Requirements:
*
Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrator
*
You must be organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic project environment
*
Previous experience in a similar environment is highly desirable for the ideal candidate
*
Strong customer service experience
