The School and Role
This Secondary school with Sixth Form based in Billericay are looking to appoint an English Teacher to work in a well-established department on a full-time basis. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired English Teacher will be planning and delivering lessons to KS3-KS5 students.
Part of a multi-academy trust of local schools, this ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school is passionate about supporting the local community and strives for academic achievement and excellence.
An over-subscribed school in Billericay, the school has an excellent reputation within Essex.
English Teachers have access to CPD opportunities, reduced school day hours and staff wellbeing initiatives. This English Teacher role is a maternity cover position, beginning in January 2025, with option to become a permanent member of staff.
Requirements
The desired English Teacher will have;
Experience of working in a UK Secondary School as an English Teacher
Knowledge of UK Curriculum and the ability to teach students how to problem-solve
Resilience, determination and a passion for your subject
PGCE with QTS and right to work in the UK
