Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Cost Administrator to join the team in Motherwell.

Although this role is currently hybrid we do need someone who can commit to 5 days in the office in case business needs change

The main function of this role is to provide professional Site support services to project teams on site to support effective operational delivery.

You will also provide consistent, effective and efficient Site Support services in accordance with Balfour Beatty policies.

Key Accountabilities

*

Process payroll transactions for blue collar workers

*

Responsibility involving payroll processing, receipting and invoice processing

*

Process plant transactions, catalogue call offs, material receipts/GRN (goods received notes) processing, invoice query resolution

*

Ensure that all transactions are posted in a timely manner

*

Assist with resolution of payroll queries

*

Ensure that site support processes are consistently and rigorously applied across all projects in line with company policies.

Skills & Experience required

*

Previous experience working in accounts payable or payroll

*

Strong administration experience

*

A working knowledge of Oracle (or equivalent ERP cost management module) and Kronos time recording system is desirable.

*

An understanding of construction and rail working rule agreements is also desirable.
