We are seeking a dedicated Technician to work on a variety of plant and heavy machinery. Whether you’re an experienced mechanic or just starting your career, this is a fantastic opportunity to receive training, gain experience, and become part of a growing team in a busy, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, service, and repair plant and heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and other industrial equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Ensure all equipment is maintained to high safety and performance standards
Collaborate with the wider team to meet maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner
Maintain detailed records of work completed, including parts used and repair times
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working on-site

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working on heavy machinery or plant equipment is an advantage, but not essential – training is provided
A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A commitment to safety and following best practices at all times
Willingness to work on a shift pattern of days and lates
