Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Whitby
Salary: Up to £500 per week
Contract: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Whitby. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons
Support students with their learning, providing one-to-one and small group assistance where needed
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom resources
Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs if requiredRequirements:
Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to working with young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to undertake training and professional development
