Are you a Maintenance Engineer with Team leading / Supervisory experience? My client, a manufacturer based in Measham are looking for a hands on engineering supervisor with FMCG experience to join their expanding team.

Job Description:

This role would ideally suit an Engineering Supervisor / Team Leader happy to work shifts.
Working with the Engineering and Production teams to deliver a proactive maintenance engineering service for the site.
This will include scheduling tasks and staffing to agreed levels; tracking progress of PPM programme in line with production schedules and, at weekends, taking overall responsibility for the site

Job Duties as an Engineering Team leader:

As Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for the following:

*To have overall responsibility for production, contractors and support staff present delivery of production schedules

* Ensuring that reporting of progress on tasks, including projects, is delivered to both Engineering and Production management

* Identification of continuous improvement opportunities, agreeing timescales and ensuring implementation

* Delivery of agreed PPM programme

* Good communication skills
* Line management experience gained in an FMCG environment (food experience essential)
* Electrical/mechanical engineering qualifications and experience (food experience essential)
* Experience of delivering continuous improvement plans and projects (essential)

The ideal Engineering Team Leader will have a time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) and (ideally but not essential) hold a ONC in a related discipline (or equivalent)

This is very much a 50/50 hands on and office based role.
