Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Working on a Monday to Friday, days only shift pattern

Monday to Thursday: 7am - 4pm

Friday: 7am - 2pm

Engineers will need to be flexible to work occasional weekends and they make look at the working hours onto a shift pattern in the future.
For a manufacturing company based in Stafford

Circa £40,000 per year (flexible for the right candidate)

As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will join a dedicated maintenance team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production machinery such as conveyors, pasteurisers, homogenisers, filling machinery, and bottle washers.

What are your job duties?

Routine and breakdown maintenance

Electrical fault finding and repairs

Mechanical repairs and part fabrication

Working on a variety of filling, packaging and production machinery

Swift response to machinery breakdowns to ensure continuous production

Occasional overtime to complete urgent repairs and cover for team members during holidays or illness

Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards in a fast-paced FMCG environment

What qualifications, skills, and experience do you require?

18th Edition Electrical qualifications

Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an FMCG environment

Ability to work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Proficiency in reading engineering drawings

Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training

Additional skills such as MEWP, FLT, first aid, and TIG welding are advantageous

Agile and capable of working in various positions, including using ladders
