SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Pay: £95-£100 a day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Blackpool. This role offers a great opportunity to support students across different age groups who have special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons.
Provide 1:1 and group support to students.
Support classroom behavior management and foster a positive learning environment.
Help with administrative tasks, classroom setup, and lesson resources.
Encourage and support students' participation in school activities.
Requirements:

Previous experience working in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
A genuine passion for working with children.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistance (desirable).
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience with caring for vulnerable individuals (Preferred but not essential)
