Due to expansion my client is in need of Quality Assurance Engineer.

About the role

They are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the required standards of quality.

Key responsibilities:

* Support the Quality Manager and Quality Team to ensure compliance to the QMS and contracts.

* Support Quality Control department when required to fulfil Quality Assurance dispositions from raised non-conformances.

* To assess customer requirements and advise/implement.

* To implement Quality Tools which demonstrate effective Quality Control for in-house Manufactured / Purchased parts (MSA, FOD, FAIR, and LAIR).

* To develop the quality control systems consistent with the business needs and the requirements within ISO 9001 and other recognised Quality Standards (e.g. NQA-1, CSA N299, ISO 14933, AS9100)

* To support quality control activities including calibration, mechanical inspection and vendor rating activities when required.

* Carry out inspections of WIP and documentation to ensure conformance to drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

* Strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques (e.g., CMM, gauges, microscopes).

* Assist with the control and management of the bonded material system.

* To perform out mechanical inspections as required

Person specification

* 2 - 5 years’ experience in a quality engineering or relevant role, preferably in manufacturing or production environments

* Experience with quality management systems (QMS), auditing and compliance.

* Knowledge of industry standards and certifications such as ISO 9001, AS9100, NQA-1, ISO 19443

* Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools (Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, 8D, 5 WHY, ISHIKAWA, FISHBONE)

* Iso 9001 Quality auditor trained

* Understanding of specifications, engineering drawings and principles

* High degree of literacy, numeracy and communication skills

* Computer literate in MS office qualifications

* Full clean driving license

*Please note this is a full-time (37.5hrs/week) on-site job and we are based within ULEZ.
