Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a leading Distribution business in Leeds to recruit an experienced Transport Planner

The company is well established and offers room to develop and progress within the role.

Main responsibilities

* Planning collections and deliveries across the UK

* Producing relevant paperwork such as PODs

* Subcontracting work to other carriers where required

* Build relationships with subcontractors, ensuring the best price is achieved

* Update drivers and customers with any changes to delivery schedules

The Person:

* Experience working as a Transport Planner

* Experience of working for a Distribution company

* Planning for HGVs carrying palletised goods and General Haulage

* Good knowledge of UK geography

* Someone who is organised and has good attention to detail

In return you can expect:

* Salary £33k-£35k

* Hours – 9am -6pm Mon-Fri

* 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
