Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (Overtime: Time and a third on weekdays, time and a half on Saturdays)

About the Role:

Market 36 Recruitment is currently seeking an Irrigation Technician on behalf of our client based near Colchester. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, and fault-finding of irrigation systems, primarily within the landscape sector.

The position is customer-facing, requiring strong communication skills and a professional approach. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, service, and repair a range of irrigation systems

* Diagnose and resolve faults and issues within irrigation setups

* Work closely with clients to provide technical advice and support

* Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and company standards

* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

* Operate company-provided vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

* Full, clean driving licence (essential)

* Experience in irrigation systems preferred (training will be provided for the right candidate)

* Strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset

* Ability to work independently and within a team

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* Mechanical and electrical experience would be a bonus but is not essential
