Our client is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Buyer to join their esteemed team. You’ll play a pivotal role in the Heritage and Paint operations, sourcing the highest-quality components and services to keep the legacy thriving. What You’ll Be Doing
As a key part of our team, you will:
Procure excellence: Source components and services with a focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
Drive relationships: Build strong supplier partnerships and handle negotiations to secure the best terms.
Ensure compliance: Maintain purchase records, oversee supplier audits, and manage non-conformance issues seamlessly.
Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet operational needs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Handle contracts: Lead tender processes and create new supplier agreements.About You
You bring:
Experience: At least 2 years in a procurement role, preferably in motorsport or manufacturing.
Expertise: Solid understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing techniques, and supply chain dynamics.
Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Drive: A proactive approach to managing a dynamic order book and ensuring efficient operations.What You’ll Need to Succeed
