We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the mechanical design and development of complex products and systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality, and performance standards.

* As the Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, provide technical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.

* Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept design, prototyping, and testing to production release.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.

* Drive innovation in design methodologies and materials to enhance product performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

* Oversee design reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

* Identify and mitigate risks through rigorous analysis, simulation, and testing.

* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline design processes and improve team efficiency.

* Act as a subject matter expert in your role as the Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, providing strategic direction and technical solutions to engineering challenges.

* Engage with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and senior management, to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or principal role as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer.

* Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA) and experience with FEA/CFD tools.

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.).

* Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems, from concept to production
