The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team has an excellent opportunity for an Employer Engagement Consultant to provide quality recruitment service to GC’s employment programmes in order to support its customers and employers across the Greater Manchester area.

GC Employment help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.

Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health and debt.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sell our products and services to employers.

* Identify clients’ recruitment and workforce development needs before selling appropriate services to them.

* Develop ongoing relationships with employers, who have used services previously, ensuring that repeat business is generated.

* Meet customers regularly.

* Develop a thorough understanding of GC’s product range and make referrals to product teams across the Group against monthly targets.

* Ensure all MI is up to date and all relevant systems are updated daily.

* Use your communication Skills and experience to build your network through, for example: generating mailshots, cold calling, attending employer events and developing rapport with GC colleagues.

About You:

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

* Well-developed IT skills.

* Excellent stakeholder Management.

Requirements:

* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

* Must have previous sales experience/Recruitment experience.

* Recent experience of working to challenging targets within a sales environment.

* Be an individual who is KPI driven and can work well under challenging targets.

* Have knowledge of recruitment and training services.

* Excellent knowledge of the local labour markets.

* Good knowledge of welfare to work and the employability customer base is desirable.
