Are you an experienced fire risk professional looking for an exciting contract opportunity?
Principal People are partnering with a leading social housing organisation to find an Interim Fire Contracts Manager who will be responsible for managing the planned and reactive fire maintenance contracts and ensure compliance across their portfolio.
This role is for 6-12 months, primarily homebased with requirement to be in office in Central London for 1 day per week. This role is to pay the successful candidate a rate of £(Apply online only)/day. (inside IR35)
The Role
Managing the planned and reactive fire maintenance contracts
Responsible for the fire contracts budget.
Ensure that any fire related maintenance that is due to expire or go non-compliant is serviced and closed out
Ensure both the remedial and reactive maintenance works are undertaken in line with budget.
Ensuring that all actions are closed out and accurately reported within the organisation’s system.
Collaborating with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure continued compliance to fire safety across the portfolio About You
Hold an established fire safety qualification
Proven experience in fire safety within social housing or a related sector.
Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance.
Have experience of managing fire/maintenance contracts
Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills.
A confident communicator, able to work effectively with diverse teams. Benefits
