SEMH Learning Support Assistant Required - Eastleigh SEN School

Salary: £90 per day/ £13.80 per hour

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner SEN Schools in Eastleigh; You will play a key role in helping students with SEMH needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, both in and outside the classroom.
* Help students to develop positive social and emotional skills, manage behavior, and build resilience.
* Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and ensure they are engaged and motivated in their education.
* Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCO, and other professionals to create and implement individualized support plans.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable).
* A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine interest in helping students overcome challenges.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Ability to manage challenging behavior in a calm and effective manner.
