Buyer - Construction, Builders Merchant, Logistics

The Company

My client are a privately owned main contractor, based in NW London.

They traditionally focused on Prime and Super-Prime residential property and hotels, interspersed with mixed use schemes, commercial, and community buildings.

Responsibilities:

* Sourcing construction materials for projects, (Drylining, Fixings, Steel, Wood materials etc)

* Sourcing relevant services for projects (Concrete, skips, tool, plant & site accommodation hire / purchasing)

* Close communication with site agents & suppliers.

* Organised and good book keeping such as updating excels with information etc.

* Knowledge of relevant suppliers, services & materials.

* Good knowledge in construction and standard procedures.

* Good IT skills, (Excel, Outlook etc).

* Bonus if got experience in logistics and transport.

* Bonus if worked for a builders merchant.

* Bonus if have knowledge in M&E materials (plumbing/electrical/AC/ventilation)
