We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our secondary school in Brighton as a Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone looking for hands-on experience in a supportive environment, with excellent career progression opportunities. You will lead classrooms using pre-prepared lesson plans, supervise students, and provide one-to-one support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lesson plans provided by the subject teacher or department.
Supervise students, ensuring that they remain on task and maintain good behavior according to the school's policy.
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
Provide basic support and clarification to students on their classwork.
Ensure all necessary materials and resources are ready and available for the lesson.
Help manage the smooth flow of lessons, addressing any immediate issues or questions from students.
Work with students individually or in small groups to support their learning needs.
Encourage students to complete their work to the best of their ability and monitor their progress.Benefits

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and engage groups of students effectively
