3rd Line IT Technician

My fantastic client based near Potters Bar is currently looking for a solid 3rd Line IT Technician to come on board on a permanent basis.

The role will consist of both Project Infrastructure Implementation as well as BAU support to a wide range of customers. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-years IT MSP experience, strong Server, Virtualisation (VMware and Hyper-V), Networking and Firewall administration skills and Cloud computing (Azure, Intune and Office365).

The Role:

* IT provisioning and support including some travel to customer sites

* Project Infrastructure implementation

* Microsoft Azure, Exchange, and Server (hosted and on-premises) - installation, upgrades, support, and maintenance

* Server, firewall, and network administration

* Office 365, SharePoint and OneDrive implementation and support

* Investigation of internet issues and failures and installation of equipment

* 3rd party vendor management

* Creation and updating of site documentation and support requests

* Specify, build, and configure hardware and software as required

Essential Skills:

* Minimum of 3-years’ experience with an IT MSP supporting business customers.

* Substantial experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Intune is essential

* Server, Networking, and Firewall administration

* Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V)

This is an exciting role with ongoing training and career development into management and offers a starting salary of £45-50k per annum.
