Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming, setting, and operating skills using Mill Plus with G codes, as well as experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls. This role will involve working on 3 and 5 axis milling machines, including the DMG – DMU 80 FD 5 axis machining centre.

Responsibilities

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines

* Utilizing Mill Plus with G codes and software similar to Fanuc controls

* Working on 3 and 5 axis milling machines, including the DMG – DMU 80 FD 5 axis machining centre

* Ensuring quality and accuracy of milled parts

* Adhering to safety and quality standards

Qualifications

* Previous experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines

* Proficiency with Mill Plus, G codes, and software similar to Fanuc controls

* Experience with 3 and 5 axis milling machines, particularly the DMG – DMU 80 FD

* Knowledge of table speeds and capacity considerations

* Strong attention to detail and quality focus

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Day-to-day

* Programming and setting up the CNC milling machine for production runs

* Operating and monitoring the milling machine to produce parts to specifications

* Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy

* Collaborating with team members to optimize production processes
