Are you a multi-skilled Handyperson / Assistant Engineer with experience in electrical, plumbing, and joinery? Looking for a versatile and proactive individual to assist our engineers with maintenance and repairs around a government building in Central Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting electrical engineers with minor electrical work, including light fittings and wiring support
Carrying out basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and minor pipework repairs
Performing general joinery tasks, including repairing shelves, doors, and small fittings
Supporting engineers with maintenance tasks throughout the building
Handling minor IT troubleshooting, such as setting up equipment and basic tech support
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulationsRequirements:

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and joinery work
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Ability to problem-solve and work independently
Good communication and teamwork skills
