FACTORY/PRODUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a motivated factory/production manager to join a very stable food manufacturing/processing company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. The position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

Oversee the daily operations of the facility.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
Implement and monitor efficiency and performance metrics.
Maintain rigorous quality control protocols to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff, supervisors, and support personnel.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
Utilise Lean Manufacturing principles and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the food production industry.
Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards
