About the Role:
FM Search & Select Ltd are seeking a qualified Heating Engineer to join our facilities management team in Glasgow. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heating systems across multiple client sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heating systems in commercial and public buildings.
*
Diagnose and repair faults in heating systems, boilers, and associated equipment.
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
*
Work closely with clients and other FM professionals to ensure efficient service delivery.
*
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
*
Identify and implement energy-efficient solutions to improve system performance.
*
Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs when required.
Requirements:
*
Fully qualified Heating Engineer with relevant industry certifications (e.g. Gas Safe registration).
*
Proven experience in the Facilities Management sector, working in commercial or public buildings.
*
Strong knowledge of heating systems, boilers, and associated controls.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
*
Full UK driving licence preferred.
