CNC Turner / Near Hazlemere / 36 Hours a Week / Days or Shift Available

Are you an experienced CNC Turner? You could be progressing your career at a well reputed mid-sized family run company that are heavily involved in a variety of sectors such as Automotive, Medical, Industrial and more.

You will be based in a busy machine shop, you will have to freedom to work on a variety of CNC Lathes. Setting, operating and online programming for bespoke pieces.

This opportunity will suit you if you enjoy having flexibility at work and have a can-do attitude. The work environment is very relaxed, no micromanaging involved.

There is also flexibility with hours as the machine shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will have your own keys/fobs so you can come and go to do overtime as you please.

Location: Based near Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire

Hours: 36 hours a week with the optional to choose between days or rotating shift

Day shift: 8:30 – 4:30pm (flexibility on changing start/finish time to skip traffic etc)

Rotating shift: Shift uplift of 1.33x rate. 6am – 2pm for 2 weeks, followed by 2 – 10pm for 2 weeks and so on

Overtime: 1.5x rate, always available

CNC Turner Duties/Requirements:

* Setting, operating and programming a variety of CNC Lathes using Mazatrol software (training can be provided to learn Mazatrol)

* Experience with online programming is essential (e.g. Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain etc)

* Working on multiple machines – operating and programming to various cycle times

* Reading and following technical drawings to program bespoke parts

* Experienced with producing low and high-volume batches
