Job Title: Business Development/Sales Professional – Manufacturing Sector
Overview:
Join a rapidly expanding SME in the manufacturing sector as a Business Development/Sales Professional. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to play a key role in the company’s ambitious growth plans. You’ll apply your business development expertise and technical knowledge to help drive success across target sectors including construction, industrial equipment, consumer goods, aerospace, and automotive.

Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Growth: Collaborate closely with Directors and Managers to develop new business and manage client relationships, driving the company’s growth strategy.
* Industry Expertise: Apply your knowledge of flatbed laser, tube laser, powder coating, and press brake operations to enhance service offerings and secure business growth.
* Autonomy & Flexibility: Work autonomously across two key sites (Nelson and Great Harwood) and travel to client locations throughout the UK as needed.
* On-Site Support: Provide hands-on support during project estimation, quoting, and delivery when required.
* Leadership Potential: Take the opportunity to progress into a leadership role within the Business Development team as the company expands.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in business development/sales, ideally within sheet metal and fabrication.
* Specific expertise in flatbed laser, tube laser, powder coating, and press brake technology is a plus.
* Experience driving business growth in the manufacturing industry.
* A full, clean driving license is essential.
* Strong leadership potential, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
Salary & Benefits:
* £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* Annual performance-related bonus.
