This is a great role for a commercial ninja who can also lead the finance function for a manufacturing SME. You will be on-site at the manufacturing facility near Glasgow, we are looking for someone who can be hands-on and wants to learn and understand everything about this business and its people. An intuitive knowledge of processes, not just accounting, is essential! Grow the business, make it more profitable, grow your role!

You must possess technical abilities, creative problem-solving skills, be commercially savvy and have excellent financial agility to be successful in this role! We need a commercial and entrepreneurial leader who can take control of all things finance but with your own ideas and vision. Embrace, own and immerse yourself in the business at all levels.
Ideally you will either be qualified or QBE, and have at least 5 years' experience, BUT it’s the skills, knowledge, personality and SME fit we are looking for!

* Forecasting and business planning

* Payroll and banking

* Stock Control, materials planning, commercial input

* Price and Margin Analysis

* Terms and Conditions

* Contract Reviews

* Strategy, planning and advising the board

* Collaborating with the MD and senior management team to efficiently grow this business.
