Description

Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for IT and professional services
Develop and implement effective category management strategies
Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation and best practices
Liaise with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure the best possible terms
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and meet their procurement needs
Monitor market trends to inform procurement strategies
Manage supplier performance and relationships to ensure service excellenceProfile

A successful Category Manager should have:

Proven experience in category management and procurement
Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Sound understanding of procurement laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
In-depth knowledge of IT/Professional Services procurement
