Senior Designer– Glazing
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Company package

Our Client is UK Industry leading specialist in glazed partitioning and architectural glazing, systems with 5 regional offices in the UK. They have a reputable name in the commercial Fit Out sector having built a strong reputation for delivering first class, bespoke solutions to the industry. Established for over 20 years our Client has a turnover circa £75m and has steady pipeline of work secured for the next 2 years.
About the Role:
My client are currently looking for an experienced Designer / Manager who will be reporting into the Design Director at their Burges . You will be capable of working within fast paced Design Team and accountable for design and layout of Internal Glazing projects upto £6m The projects will be in and around the London area serving the commercial fit out market. Responsibilities
• An education in lighting design, electrical engineering, interior design, architecture or similar.
Industry experience, however this is not essential as full training will be provided.
• Creativity, the candidate will have a strong conceptual approach.
• Strong presentation skills and an eye for detail are a must.
• A drive to grow and develop within in the company
• A working knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling programs. AutoCAD, ReluxSuite, 3D Studio Max, Revit and Sketch UP are all advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to handle unreasonable requests and meet deadlines.
Requirements
• Upholding, advancing and establishing working client relationships.
• Working with interior designers, architects, consultants and contractors in order to achieve a desired strategy.
• Conducting surveys using relevant software.
• Preparing luminaire schedules.
• Providing innovative designs from concept to completion.
• Visiting sites on a regular basis.
