About the role - Behaviour Mentor - Brent
It would be an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to work with students who have SEN, ASD, or SEMH needs in order to support them in their academic and social lives. There is no doubt this is a rewarding job, as you will be a Behaviour Mentor who is showing students how it is possible to be a good role model. It is important that this individual is approachable and passionate when it comes to supporting children with their unique needs. The ability to have patience and empathy is one of the most important qualities to have as a behaviour mentor. A desire to work with children who have special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or mental health issues is desirable. Ideally, you should be able to work under pressure and be able to react quickly to situations when they occur in real time so that you can react to them as they occur. In order to be considered for this position, you must have experience working with challenging behaviours.
