What will the role of an Unqualified Drama Teacher entail?

Teaching for a maximum of 17 hours per week
Have your own classes that they you responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively - No lesson planning involved
Provided schemes of work
Working alongside the School covering all lessons
Providing high quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis
Raising attainment & the quality of learning
Inspiring & motivating young minds
Managing behavior effectively
ASAP Start - Full TimeSuccessful candidates shall have the opportunity to enroll onto the Schools Direct PGCE - This is where you shall complete a 12-week course, resulting at the end (if successful) the status of QTS - This is pending prior experience.

Drama Degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from a reputable university
Strong understanding of the Secondary curriculum required
Previous classroom experience is required!
