Job Title: Building Surveyor - Dilapidations Specialist

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor with a strong background in dilapidations to join our dynamic and growing team. You'll be working with a diverse client base, providing expert advice, and delivering high-quality professional services across a range of commercial property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake and manage dilapidations surveys and reports
Provide strategic advice to both landlords and tenants
Conduct pre-acquisition and condition surveys
Prepare and negotiate schedules of condition and repair
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

Proven experience in dilapidations (essential)
Degree in Building Surveying or related field
MRICS or working towards chartership (preferred)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
