Actio Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our Sheffield based client with their search for a Quality Inspector.

Our client is a forward-thinking business who manufacture quality components for the Aerospace industry.

The Role

• Inspect incoming, in process and final inspection parts in line with company/customer specifications
• Measure final assembly parts utilising FARO arm equipment
• Use various pieces of measuring equipment including Height Gauges, Verniers and Micrometers
• Ensure products are to the correct tolerances
• Interpret engineering drawings

• Participate in quality audits
• Prepare and record inspection reports

• Utilise part marking equipment for the identification of parts prior to being shipped
• Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous FARO arm experience
• Prove track record in an inspection position
• Previous experience working within aerospace
• Previous experience of working with thin materials

• Basic understanding of lean principles
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail

Shift

This is rotating shift role:

Mornings
(Apply online only) (Mon-Thur)
(Apply online only) (Fri)

Afternoons
(Apply online only) (Mon-Thur)
(Apply online only) (Fri)

Pay

£33,471 per annum (including shift allowance)
Overtime paid at time and a half
