Our client, a growing contractor based on the outskirts of Redhill, is looking for a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Available due to internal promotion you will be working alongside the Financial Controller, supporting all aspects of accounts including:
Managing Purchase & Sales Ledger
Handling Intercompany transactions & bank reconciliations
Preparing VAT & CIS returns
Processing weekly & monthly payroll
Supporting with preparation of management accounts
Essential Skills & Experience:
Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll experience
AAT / ACCA or equivalent qualification
A good working knowledge of CIS returns
Previous experience within the Construction sector
A detail-oriented mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
