Our client has over 50 years experience withing the infrastructure market, specialising in rail and highways, and I have worked with them for over 20 years.

They are a family-owned contractor, acting as a main contractor on infrastructure Framework Contracts and a specialist civils subcontractor to private and Principal Contractors.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to lead and have ownership of their new and rapidly growing regional highways contracts. Reporting into the Regional Commercial Manager, you will work with the highways Contracts Manager pricing and tendering for new projects and packages of work, NEC3/4 contract administration through to Final Accounts, managing Change, early warning notices, monitoring and reporting on budgets and costs, and producing CVR's.

Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:

Full NEC commercial administration of contracts through to Final Accounts.
Working with Contracts Manager and wider team to price and tender new contracts.
Reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme.
Monitoring and reporting on budgets and costs against programme and producing CVR's.
Agreeing monthly payment valuations.
Agreeing instructions, change and processing variations.
Take-off's and Remeasurement
Attending client and project progress meetings.
Agreeing Final Accounts.Quantity Surveyor requirements:

Degree or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification.
5 - 10 years' experience working on highways &/or utility projects/frameworks.
Experienced in self-delivery of projects from pricing and award, through to final accounts.
Able to produce quotations, price variations, do Take-Offs and remeasure.
Well organised, diligent, self-motivated, and proactive.
Full UK driving license.Quantity Surveyor Benefits:
