Senior Civil Engineer – Liverpool
Vertical Recruitment is working with an independent engineering consultancy with a Head Office in Liverpool and an additional office in Milton Keynes. They specialise in providing Civil and Structural Engineering solutions for projects across the UK, supporting all stages of property, construction, building, and infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and delivering a diverse range of projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, leisure, and education. You will be responsible for the design and preparation of drawn information, overseeing projects from pre-planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of S278/S38 highways packages, S104/S185 drainage packages, and external levels drawings for residential developments.
* Leading project teams and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
* Conducting site visits and inspections, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Utilising AutoCAD and, preferably, PDS/Site 3D modelling software.
* Use of MicroDrainage / Flow / InfoDrainage software is also advantageous.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Chartered or working towards Chartered status (ICE or similar).
* Strong technical expertise in highways and drainage design.
* Proficiency in relevant design software.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
