Salary: £34,000 per annum + Bonus + CQC Bonus!
Location: Whetstone, North London
Weekday Patterns: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
Weekend Patterns: 6.00 am - 2.00 pm or 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm
Hours: 40 - Days only!
HCR is searching for a deputy care manager to join a reputable prestigious provider that has been running since the 1980s! We are recruiting for an experienced residential deputy care manager who wants to join a progressive service. The deputy care manager will be added to the team as an additional deputy care manager and will support the registered manager in the day-to-day management empowering team members to promote the highest standards of residential and dementia care.
The service accommodates 50 + residents over 3 units providing care packages for the elderly such as respite, dementia, and residential care. The deputy manager will support and influence positive behaviours throughout the service ensuring the requirements are met with the Health and Social Act and will adhere to all other regulations.
The Deputy Care Manager duties will include:
Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation and running of the service ensuring safe care.
Safeguard residents from avoidable harm and abuse.
Risk management and be able to eliminate risk through prevention strategies.
Promote positive behaviours.
Ensure care staff members provide excellent care on time.
Liaise with internal and external professionals.
Conduct regular staff meetings documenting key points.
The Deputy Care Manager Remuneration:
Excellent bonus
CQC Bonus

Deputy Care Manager requirements:
Knowledgeable on CQC, compliance, policies, regulations, and legislation.
To have a minimum NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent to level 3 or above.
Must be experienced in dementia and residential care.
To have worked in a senior role within care
Be registered to work in the UK!
