Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to inspire and educate? We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our mixed multicultural secondary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our inclusive and supportive learning environment.

English Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Support students' literacy development through effective teaching strategies.
Plan and prepare resources and assessments in line with the curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their learning journey.
Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the English department's success.
English Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language.
Ability to differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Experience teaching English at secondary level is desirable but not essential for NQTs.
