Job Title: Supply Chain Planner (2 positions available)
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Role)
Contract Length: 12 months (with possible extension)
Rate:
PAYE rate: £17.95 per hourWorking Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking two motivated Supply Chain Planners to support the team at our Peterborough site. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office initially, which will later transition to 2 days per week. The role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to grow within supply chain management in a dynamic environment.
Contract Duration: Initially 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plan to meet demand.
Use MRP (Material Requirement Planning) systems and Master Production Scheduling Systems (training provided).
Assist with demand forecasting and supply planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
Proficient in Excel.
Strong communication skills.
Numerically capable with an eye for detail.Desired Skills:
Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Experience with Oracle systems is a plus.
Prior exposure to an analytical role.
Experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain (preferred but not essential).
Experience in the automotive sector (not required but beneficial).
Candidate Profile:
We are open to considering a range of candidates, including junior profiles, graduates, and ex-placement students. Previous experience in a supply chain role, whether through internships or work experience, is preferred but not essential.
This role provides an opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain planning, offering on-the-job training in MRP systems and master production scheduling, with room for career growth.
