Planning Support & Projects Engineer

Our customer, is a private jet and rotorcraft business that supports chartering, management of and maintenance of aircraft. This role will be reporting to the Fixed Wing (FW) Production Planning Manager, working alongside the planning engineering team in FW.

Due to an ongoing project within the Part 145 this role will start out in the production planning area of the FW Part 145 before then developing into a project engineering role.

Initial responsibilities and accountabilities:

* Liaise with the CAMO/operator to discuss maintenance requirements.

* Research of tooling, materials and 3rd party requirements to support maintenance inputs

* Building of work packs

* Technical record management throughout maintenance inputs

* Drafting of logbook certificates

* Technical records review of completed work packs for compliance with regulatory requirements

* Providing planning support with technology upgrades

* Implementation of improvements to streamline time booking and work pack completion

* Providing support to the implementation of a new software package

To develop into:

* Planning and admin support for the trim/paint bay

* On going project support with the FW and Rotary Wing (RW) areas of the Part 145

* Man hour and material planning for the trim/paint bay

* Safety and Quality development including authorization management, continuation training, safety investigations

* Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives

* Auditing support to develop with training

* Air track/Envision software experience a huge benefit
