Surgical First Assistant - Private Hospital - Enfield - Full time - Up to £45,000
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a flexible shift pattern
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per year

Surgical First Assistant position in the Theatre department
Surgical First Assistant Criteria:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
ILS certification
Mentorship qualification
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment
Surgical First Assistant Duties:
Deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care
Support and assist in the management and organization of care provision within the Operating Department
Assist in the delivery of patient care
Contribute to quality improvement
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
Apply and promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice
Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly
Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act
Assemble, check, and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures
Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Private Hospital Group behaviors at all times
