Central Recruitment are working with a Manufacturing company is Leyland, recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative.

Driving licence is essential for this position, as although you will be based at their Leyland site, there may be times when you have to drive the work van to pick up stock from their Lytham site.

Reporting in the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible general warehouse tasks throughout the department.

Duties will include:

* Picking items based on the daily production

* Keeping the production team stock levels correct for their daily tasks

* Making sure finished goods are labelled ready for despatch

* Printing labels and job orders

* Making sure stock levels are correct and ordering if required

* General warehouse duties

* Palletising and shrink wrapping

* Manual handling

Due to the nature of the business there is heavy lifting and correct manual handling procedures have to be adhered to at all times.

This is a full time position, initially temporary for 13 weeks with a view to go permanent after this time.

Hours of work 7am - 4.30pm Friday 7am - 4pm
