The Company

As established and well-known company who operate primarily within the Scottish Construction Industry with multiple office locations across the country. Typically, they work on project values ranging from a minimum of £100k and rising to £10m. This company have a very dynamic leadership team and have an excellent company culture with long term employees.

The Role

Our client operates within the construction industry and have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their established finance department. Some of the key responsibilities within the role will be:

* Supporting Credit Control Processes

* Issue invoices to clients

* reconcile invoices on sales ledger

* create reports on sales and outgoings

* manage timesheets and invoices from external suppliers such as agency and materials

* approve items for payment

The Candidate

Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, however applicants from other sectors will also be considered. Key requirements are:

* Understanding of credit control

* Understanding of sales ledger

* Ability to work and operate spreadsheets

* Good all round knowledge of Microsoft packages

* Strong attention to detail

* Strong communicator and work well as part of a wider team

* Office based role 5 days per week

The Package

Details of the remuneration are noted on the advert, however the company will reward employees with salary reviews and the opportunity to work their way to more senior posts within the business. The company will also support ambitions of their staff and allow additional training and upskilling
