BAM Site Solutions are looking for an Accommodation & Welfare Installation Operative to support all aspects of installation and removal of our portable accommodation, general refurbishment, fit out and maintenance of Portable Accommodation units on site or in a workshop environment to current standards and regulations.
This is a Full time position working Monday to Friday.
Regular Travel throughout the UK will be required. You will be provided with a company van.

Your mission
Placing Health & Safety of all involved in the business as your top priority
Ensuring customer orders are processed in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
Install, dismantle, and maintain modular units to highest standard, fitting and removal of partitions, floors, ceilings, and other fittings
Knowledge and experience in lifting operations an advantage but training can be provided
Doing it right first time and identifying failures to prevent recurrence
Operating procedures and documented systems
Understanding and fulfilling your customers’ needs
Supporting BAM in all its operations as required
Minimising the environmental impact on your operation
Striving for profitable growth
This is a client facing role, so a helpful and professional Individual is required this position would suit an allrounder who can turn their hand to most jobs
Duties can range from maintaining our range of Accommodation and Welfare Hire fleet from electrics to fixing plumbing in canteens and toilet blocks to replacing door handles. All other general maintenance, repair, assembly, and fitting work as required
Who are we looking for?
Experience in general refurbishment, fit out and maintenance of Modular and Portable Accommodation units on site or in a workshop environment to current standards and regulations
Basic knowledge in Plumbing, Joinery, decorating and general maintenance
A clean driving licence required
Strong organisational skills, able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.
An enthusiastic team player
Preferably have a good mix of general repair / maintenance / multi trader / handyman work experience or experience in a Manufacturing Operative / Fitter role with experience of using power tools
Having a professional positive attitude, you would need to have a willingness to learn, the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, a flexible approach to work and working hours
Coming from a Modular and existing supplier of cabins would be an advantage
