Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Calculate and post monthly journals, ensuring timely and precise balance sheet reconciliations.
Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts and financial reports, delivering key insights for stakeholders.
Shareholder Communication: Collaborate in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for shareholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
VAT Compliance: Oversee quarterly VAT returns, submissions to HMRC, and annual adjustments for partial-rated VAT percentages. Handle ad-hoc VAT queries with confidence.
Audit Leadership: Lead audit-related workstreams, responding to queries for internal and external audits (including SOX and tax) while embedding and enhancing financial controls.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of two in Accounts Payable, fostering growth and ensuring smooth operations.Candidates for the Financial Reporting Accountant will be:

ACA Qualified Accountant.
Practice-trained from Big 4 or Top 10.
Have IFRS knowledge; US GAAP knowledge is desirable.Salary & Package:

£60,000 - £65,000.
Discretionary bonus.
