About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will provide essential teaching support across various schools, covering for permanent staff absences. You will ensure the continuity of students’ education by delivering prepared lessons and managing the classroom environment effectively.

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups and subjects, following the provided curriculum and lesson plans.
Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, ensuring that students are focused and on-task.
Quickly adapt to different school environments and requirements, providing seamless educational experiences for students.
Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Uphold the highest standards of professional behaviour and interaction with students, staff and parents.
Supply Teacher Job Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, or equivalent).
Prior experience in teaching, ideally across multiple key stages and subjects.
Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Willingness to work on a casual basis with availability to cover at short notice.
A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.

Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
