About the Role
As the Deputy Home Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager, providing essential leadership and guidance to ensure the well-being and safety of all residents. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day operations, helping to manage the team, maintain compliance, and support the overall mission of delivering exceptional person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Provide effective leadership to care staff, promoting a positive working environment and leading by example.
Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and social care regulations, including CQC standards.
Care Management: Oversee residents’ care plans, monitor well-being, and ensure individual needs are met with compassion and respect.
Operational Support: Assist in managing daily operations, including staff rotas, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Family Liaison: Build and maintain excellent relationships with residents' families, keeping them informed and involved.
Requirements
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (NVQ Level 5 desirable).
Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or senior role within a residential or nursing care setting.
Knowledge: Understanding of CQC regulations and standards, and experience implementing care plans.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
