A Special Educational Needs School in Colchester is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN LSA on a long-term basis starting after the May half-term, with the opportunity to apply for a permanent role in August 2025. Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom activities
Supporting students with communication, individual support plans (ISPs), and behaviour management
Supervising and engaging with students during lunch and break times
Accompanying students on educational visits and school tripsWho We Are Looking For:

Experience working with students with autism or learning disabilities in an educational setting
NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning is desirable but not essential
A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's needs
