Simply Education is looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant to work in nurseries across Uphill Lincoln and the surrounding villages. This role is perfect for both qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistants and individuals with at least 3 months of experience working with children, even if they do not hold a formal qualification. We have a variety of day-to-day cover roles and longer-term assignments available, offering flexibility and valuable experience in early years settings.

Nursery Assistant - Role & Responsibilities:

Supporting the early development of children in a nursery environment

Assisting with play-based learning and structured activities

Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere for children

Providing individual and small-group support to children

Helping with general nursery duties, including meal preparation and tidying

Nursery Assistant - Requirements:

Either a Level 3 qualification in childcare or a minimum of 3 months experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting

A passion for early years education and child development

Adaptability, patience, and the ability to work well in different environments

A positive and nurturing attitude towards young learners
