Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Product Development Engineer in the Wimborne area. This is a great opportunity for someone with product development experience looking for a new position with a fast-growing, international business.

The Role: The successful candidate will develop and test new products from concept to final stage. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

* Introduce new products through discovery, testing, and overall development phases.

* Design and manufacture of product prototype parts\assemblies, tooling, fixtures and jigs for assembly etc.

* Create product assembly instructions.

* Produce components and parts on time, within budget and adherence to quality systems.

* Reporting and updating test results.

* Supporting the development of new test methods.

* Support the procurement of materials for prototyping and testing

* Work closely with other departments

About you:

* Mechanical background with strong practical skills.

* Experience working in a test environment.

* Background in assembly or product engineering.

* Experience with hand tools.

* Experience with manual machining (desirable).

* Qualified in an engineering discipline.
